↞ CRAGCLAN DEPUTY AUDITIONS ↠
Deputies are an incredibly important part of day to day clan life. As such, it is important to us to pick a active, reliable deputy for both clans. Please read through our qualifications before applying.
Auditions will end July 10th, 2020 at 5 PM EST. Auditions are CLOSED.
QUALIFICATIONS
01. ACTIVITY Staff and High Ranks are held to a higher standard of activity than the community. While we prefer members are on at least 2-3 times a week, we ask that high ranks be online for a minimum of 3-4 days a week.
02. TRANSPARENCY Transparency is incredibly important to our team. If you cannot make it to an event, get sick, need some time off the game - please let us know. We promise we aren't going to bite your head off. That said, if absences become too frequent, we may ask you to step down. Additionally, we ask if you cannot make it to an event to give a minimum of 24 hours notice.
03. RESPECT As a high rank, you represent the role play. We expect you to follow our rules, and treat all community members with respect.
04. HIGH RANK STRIKE SYSTEM We've created a strike system deemed fair by both the staff team and high ranks. If you go inactive for 3-4 days without posting a absence in the chat, you get a strike. If you have to be reminded to be active after the first strike, you get another strike. If you break a rule, you get a strike. All high ranks are allotted 3 strikes, and if you receive three strikes you will be asked to step down. Staff aren't exempt from high rank strikes.
High Rank strikes can be removed from record if a strike isn't received for a month AFTER you receive your first strike. Medical emergencies are exempt of strikes, but continual absences will result in demotion.
05. CHARACTER AGE All applicants cannot be younger than 30 moons, and must have trained one apprentice. The trained apprentice can be a member OR an NPC.
PROMPTS
01. CHOOSE YOUR PROMPTS Please choose your prompts based on the yellow and orange colors. Please pick ONE of EACH color! The yellow prompts are based solely on deputy duties, where as orange prompts pertain to actions made when your leader is sick or absent.
DEPUTY PROMPT #1 You are out on a border patrol when you come across a meeting between WarrenClanners and CragClanners. There appeared to have been no fighting, and the cats involved look suspicious - and there is a council member among them. How do you react to this situation?
DEPUTY PROMPT #2 Your leader is out of the camp, headed toward the tree of life to commune with HearthClan when your clan camp is attacked by an eagle. The protective heather of the camp becomes compromised, and the clan must be moved. What actions do you take to protect your clan?
DEPUTY PROMPT #3 Your leader falls ill, and the council is demanding a trial for a cat accused of abandoning their clan for almost a moon. You listen in on the trial, where many cats testify they haven't seen their clanmate for days. At the end of the trial, the accused is found guilty. What would be your recommended punishment for them?
DEPUTY PROMPT #4 In the heat of battle, your leader has lost one of their nine lives. They are still breathing, but not in any state to make a decision. Your clanmates are as wounded as your enemies, and now you are tasked with making the decision. Do you stay to fight, or do you retreat?
Note: You do not have to roleplay the prompts out. We only need to know how your character would react to these scenarios.

Deputy ApplicationFHU Username: RazorWolf144 Character Name: Sorrelhawk Character's Age: 36 Moons (might bump it down to 34?) Character's Gender: Female Clan: CragClan Personality: POSITIVE ▸ out-spoken ▸ strong-willed ▸ neat ▸ sophisticated NEGATIVE ▸ harsh ▸ tempermental ▸ conceded ▸ cold Biography: click! (a lot of her warrior history is wip, including her past apprentice training but you can dm me if u want the google doc c:) Prompt 2: Your leader is out of the camp, headed toward the tree of life to commune with HearthClan when your clan camp is attacked by an eagle. The protective heather of the camp becomes compromised, and the clan must be moved. What actions do you take to protect your clan? Assuming that the eagle could see into the camp at that point, Sorrelhawk would first make a move to make sure all of the kits were accounted for. The queens would assist in carrying them out of camp as well as some of the warriors, and then the elders would be looked after by the older apprentices. She'd have a patrol of warriors close on her, as well as the rest of the apprentices that were too young to look after themselves without a warrior's help. She would then send a single clanmate to alert Nightstar (presuming the camp had known where their leader had gone.) Once the parties had been assembled, Sorrelhawk would then round them up and tell them to stay close on her heels while they left camp and attempted to search for a dugout or a cave close to camp, free from the eagle's talons but close enough that they wouldn't need to make a long trek and risk the elders and kits getting eaten and/or wounded. If all else failed, Sorrelhawk would attempt to lead the eagle away from the group and single her out instead. Prompt 4: In the heat of battle, your leader has lost one of their nine lives. They are still breathing, but not in any state to make a decision. Your clanmates are as wounded as your enemies, and now you are tasked with making the decision. Do you stay to fight, or do you retreat? As much as it would pain Sorrelhawk to show weakness in the midst of a battle, with Nightstar seriously injured and her clanmates not better off, the she-cat would make the difficult decision to retreat rather than to fight a losing battle on both sides. Although Sorrelhawk would die for her clan, she wouldn't want her fellow warriors and friends being met with the same fate. After the retreat was called, she would send a warrior back to camp to fetch Emberlight in hopes of the medicine cat being able to heal their leader's wounds while Sorrel assisted her in getting home (whether that be carrying her, etc.) At the next gathering, if it were brought up, Sorrelhawk would mention that the lives of the clan came before the heat of the battle, and that she felt her decision was the right one. What would you like to see in HT?: I mean?? everything that's been brought to the table so far has been outstanding so I can't really come up with any further suggestions at the moment c':

Deputy ApplicationFHU Username: Keres Character Name: Slatesnap Character's Age: 53 moons Character's Gender: Male Clan: Crag Clan Personality: + Fatherly +Protective +Intuitive +Good Hearted o Distanced o Obedient o Solitary - Strict - Authoritative - Pessimistic - Over critical Biography: docs.google.com/document/d/1GtyS_M9iIgr3FXq8ew-WCLhG7ZR_BdlowP9Eal_mgFM/edit?usp=sharing (Many aspects of his warrior life is still a WIP) Prompt 2: Slatesnap would first ensure that all kits, young apprentices and elders are cared for and given a warrior to ensure their safety. If the eagle was flying above the camp or in view of the camp, he would have all the warriors remain close together to ensure that they would be able to fight it off. During a moment of calm of the eagle flying or swooping above, he would lead the clan towards the closet outcrop of rocks or to the closest den. Slatesnap would wait until the coast is clear to send three warriors, two stone guards and one catcher (to ensure proper muscle and speed) , to find Nightstar to alert her of what happened. Prompt 3: Slatesnap would listen in on the trial, listening to all sides of the story. He would interview each cat that has had contact with the supposed traitor and ask for any information that would be of value. In terms of punishment, it would all depend on the crime committed. Should it be a forbidden romance, that cat would be placed on extreme watch and not be allowed to leave the camp without an escort. If the crime was more severe, he would place them under watch and not be allowed to leave the camp at all. If the leader was expected to become well again, he would wait for them to place the final judgement on their punishment. However, if it was expected for the leader to not recover, he would most likely exile them for severe crimes.
